This Chinese accent cabinet features a wood frame coated in a high-gloss black lacquer finish. The top surface is hand-painted with a delicate scene of birds perched among red floral blossoms, while the front face features two cabinet doors decorated with high-relief applied carvings of female figures within a palace courtyard setting. Traced with hand-painted gold fretwork borders and fitted with traditional etched brass hardware, the cabinet opens to a clean interior with a single storage shelf.
