This Victorian-style vanity chair was manufactured by Kimball Furniture Reproductions, Inc., and features a distinctive heart-shaped open backrest. The cream-finished hardwood frame is embellished with a hand-carved floral crest depicting a rose and foliage, as well as gold-accented scrolls at the shoulders. Both the heart-back insert and the serpentine seat are upholstered in a vibrant pink velvet with deep diamond button-tufting. The chair is supported by two slender cabriole front legs and gently splayed rear legs, creating a romantic Rococo-inspired silhouette. The underside retains the original factory ‘Final Quality Check’ tag and law labels, identifying the piece as a late 20th-century American reproduction.
