This pair of vintage oak captain’s chairs features a classic Colonial Revival silhouette with horseshoe-shaped backrests and turned spindle supports. Each chair is inset with a thick leather seat featuring decorative hand-tooled pictorial motifs and geometric borders, secured by a perimeter of brass nailhead tacks. The frames are constructed of solid oak with honey-toned finishes, supported by turned legs joined by H-stretchers and reinforced with underside metal tension rods.
