The walnut frames are intricately carved, displaying acanthus leaf detailing on the arms and the signature ‘Os de Mouton’ curved leg and stretcher configuration. The chairs are finished in a multi-color floral tapestry-style fabric, accented by decorative brass nailhead trim along the borders. These pieces represent a mid-20th-century revival of the grand French formal tradition, combining sturdy construction with ornamental historical motifs.
