American Edwardian Tiger Oak Bow-Front China Cabinet, Early 20th Century

Item Details

A transitional Edwardian period china cabinet constructed of quarter-sawn ‘tiger’ oak. The piece features a bow-front design with a single central glazed door flanked by two fixed curved glass side panels. The interior contains three original wood-framed glass shelves. The cabinet is elevated on four cabriole legs ending in pad feet, reflecting Queen Anne revival influences common in the early 1900s. The back is constructed of vertical structural planks with a dark stained finish.
