Ornate Enameled Cast Iron and Brass Cookstove, Late 19th Century

Item Details

This full-size Victorian-era cookstove is constructed of cast iron with a specialized cobalt blue textured enamel finish. The exterior is highly decorated with brass accents, including a top gallery and protective railings, complemented by white ceramic handles. The oven doors and side panels feature inset medallions depicting hand-painted landscape scenes. The unit includes a dedicated water reservoir with a matching brass cover and a central firebox.
