This two-piece Mediterranean Style armoire features solid oak and oak veneer construction characteristic of the 1970s Spanish Colonial Revival movement in the United States. The upper cabinet is topped with a molded arched pediment and two large doors accented by deep recessed panels with hand-finished relief carvings. The interior is fitted with three functional drawers and open shelving for versatile storage. The cabinet sits atop a lower chest base containing two wide drawers with machine-cut dovetail joints, indicating efficient modern factory manufacture. The exterior is finished with a dark-grain stain and accented by ornate ‘antiqued’ brass hardware, including twisted-rope style handles and a decorative central latch. While structurally sound, the piece shows significant wear to the original particle board back panel and scattered finish abrasions consistent with residential use.
