This Empire style mahogany sideboard features a rectangular white veined marble top resting above a two-door cabinet construction. The facade is heavily ornamented with gilt-bronze mounts, including Neoclassical female figures centered within laurel wreaths on the door panels and caryatid busts at the stiles. The mahogany veneers are arranged in a diagonal book-match pattern on the doors, creating a sunburst effect that radiates from the central bronze figures. Functional elements include two frieze drawers with decorative bronze pulls and an interior fitted with a single wooden shelf.
