This elegant Chippendale style sofa table is crafted from rich mahogany and features a distinctive inset glass work surface. The rectangular frame is supported by an ornate apron embellished with deep blind-fretwork and a central foliate shell carving. The table is elevated on four graceful cabriole legs, each prominently carved at the knee with acanthus leaf motifs and terminating in traditional hand-carved ball-and-claw feet. The combination of classic 18th-century English design elements with a modern glass top makes this a versatile console for traditional or transitional interior spaces.
