A serene maritime landscape featuring several brown-sailed fishing luggers and a smaller rowing boat in the foreground. The background reveals a distant, hazy skyline with a domed structure reminiscent of a Mediterranean or Middle Eastern port (possibly Venice or Istanbul). The work is executed in an impressionistic, tonal style with a focus on sunset light reflecting on the water. It is signed ‘J. Wagner’ in the lower right corner.

- craquelure to paint throughout canvas; loss to paint in sky area of canvas board; nicks and abrasions along edges of frame; wear to corners of frame; Bloom/discoloration to paint on canvas.
