Burns Case Goods Colonial Revival Style Maple Dresser with Mirror

Item Details

This Mid-Century 8-drawer dresser is a product of Burns Case Goods Corp. of Jamestown, New York, a city with a historic reputation for high-quality Swedish-American cabinetry. Crafted from solid maple, the dresser features a classic Early American Revival silhouette, accented by a decorative scalloped apron below the top edge and matching circular wooden knobs. The unit stands on sturdy block feet with an elegant arched plinth. Each drawer is constructed with traditional dovetail joinery, ensuring long-term durability. Included with the dresser is a coordinating landscape mirror featuring a ‘broken-arch’ style crest and a central turned-urn finial. While structurally excellent, the honey-maple finish shows signs of regular household use, including localized abrasions and finish wear consistent with its 60-year history.
