Set of Six Sheraton Style Mahogany Dining Chairs

Item Details

This set of six Sheraton style mahogany dining chairs perfectly captures the refined elegance of late 18th-century English design. Each chair is defined by a characteristic Sheraton square back, featuring a rectangular tablet top rail and a sophisticated splat of three fluted spindles capped with hand-carved acanthus leaves. The light, architectural silhouette is supported by classic ring-turned front legs and out-swept rear sabre legs. Upholstered in a traditional yellow striped damask with brass nailhead trim, the set maintains a stately presence. While showing historical repairs consistent with regular use, this set remains a premier example of the resurgence in Neoclassical cabinetry and Thomas Sheraton’s enduring influence on the formal dining room.
