Five-Piece Colonial Revival Style Dining Set, Mid to Late 20th Century

Item Details

This solid-wood dining suite is an American mid-to-late 20th-century interpretation of classic Colonial design. The set centers on a circular dining table equipped with two deep drop leaves, providing versatile seating for small spaces. Unlike traditional gate-leg models, the leaves are supported by pull-out wooden brackets, allowing for a more stable four-leg footprint. Accompanied by four bow-back side chairs, the set utilizes a ‘Windsor’ silhouette with ergonomically contoured saddle seats and robust turned stretchers. The suite is finished in a warm reddish-brown stain typical of the Early American Revival era. While the set remains structurally sound, the lower sections of the table legs show significant finish wear consistent with decades of residential use.
