Item Details

This Georgian style mahogany commode features a rectangular green marble top with a bullnose edge set above a case of four drawers. The drawer configuration consists of two short drawers over two full-width graduated drawers, all faced with flame mahogany veneers and outfitted with ornate cast brass swing handles and vase-form escutcheons. The case is distinguished by intricate blind fretwork carving across the upper frieze and along the canted front corners, a hallmark of the Chippendale revival aesthetic.
