A conical, tiered automaton constructed of cut, hammered, and patinated copper and brass sheet metal. The carousel features an openwork upper canopy with repeating scroll motifs and a base with riveted, irregular sheet metal accents. The lower tier contains figural elements, including mermaids and boats, mounted on vertical support rods. The piece is centrally powered, with wiring and a capacitor/motor component in the base. Circa 1955–1975 (Mid-20th Century).

- oxidation and tarnish; paint loss; splits; residue; dents; scratches.
