Burberry

Born in 1835, Thomas Burberry began his career as an apprentice draper who would go on to revolutionize rainwear. In 1879, Burberry invented gabardine, a breathable weatherproof fabric that did away with the uncomfortable and stifling raingear that came before. From there Thomas Burberry established his brand with patterned scarves, trench coats and other fashion accessories. Nearly 200 years later, Burberry continues to be devote themselves tc creating distinctly British designs that uphold their legacy of luxury, innovation and craftsmanship.
