Item Details
A mid-century hand-stitched crewel-style embroidery piece. The work depicts orange-capped mushrooms and a fern, utilizing padded satin stitching to add dimension in the fungi. The piece is unsigned, and marked ‘Embroidered in Canary Islands’ to the verso beneath the backing board. It is presented behind a mat in a gold one and green painted wood frame with a saw-tooth bracket to the verso for hanging.
