An antique crayon enlargement on paper by an anonymous artist. This portrait depicts the bust of a young man in three-quarters profile, with extensive charcoal shading and enhancements. It is unsigned and presented behind glass in a gold tone wood frame with detailed foliate molding and wire to the verso for hanging.

Condition

- discoloration and foxing throughout; heavy accretion to frame and some accretion to glass; cracks in frame molding at corners with other chips, stains, and wear throughout; wear to verso with paper remnants and warping.
