An oil on canvas painting from 1969 titled Ravine’s Mustache and signed A. B. Vishtal. This artwork depicts a rural landscape with a winding river in the foreground and a cluster of houses in the background against a partly cloudy sky. The landscape painting has been initialed and dated to the lower right corner, and has been inscribed to the verso with the name ‘A. B. Vishtal’ in Roman letters and the apparent title Ravine’s Mustache in Cyrillic lettering. The artwork is presented in a red wood frame and there is a metal hanging wire to the verso.

Condition

- small spots of brown discoloration across painting, as well as some chipping toward bottom region; craquelure present to paint; warping to canvas at upper right region; minor wear and discoloration to frame.
