Large Vincent Van Gogh "The Pink Orchard" Framed Print

A large Vincent van Gogh (1853-1890) framed print of ‘The Pink Orchard’ (1888). To the side of the print is a reproduced written letter from Van Gogh to his brother Theo about the painting (see link for translation). The original oil on canvas painting of this orchard with blossoming apricot trees is located in the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam. Even though Van Gogh painted over a dozen blossoming orchards, he intended for three paintings (the pink orchard, the white orchard and a pink peach tree) to go together as he explains in the letter. The letter includes a sketch of the triptych (see bottom left of print). The print is framed in gold-ribbed wood with specialty-cut blue matte.
