A watercolor and graphite painting on paper by listed American artist Robert Herrmann (1922-1996). This work depicts a truncated architectural scene comprised of angular delineations and subtle watercolor pigments. The work is initialed to the lower left. The piece is presented matted and wrapped in acetate. Includes an exhibition catalog from Cincinnati Art Galleries.

Herrmann acquired his formal artistic and architectural training at the University of Cincinnati, University of Wisconsin, Ohio State University, University of Iowa, and Columbia University. While professionally trained, he chose to never exhibit his work publicly, making his first solo exhibit posthumous. He is known for his precisionist style and his paintings of architectural landscapes.
