An Art Deco style blanket chest featuring mixed wood construction with bookmatched flame mahogany veneers to the front and cedar lining to the inside. The piece is embellished with carved acanthus appliques to the lid and base, a shelf in the base and bracket feet. The lock has been made non-functional.
