Antique Bavarian Black Forest and Ceramic Smoking Pipe
Item Details
An antique Bavarian smoking pipe, having a turned elements of antler, horn, and ebony. The pipe is fitted with a mouthpiece, flexible woven hose and hand-painted porcelain bowl with hunter and trophy scene with a beer stein, book and crossed swords. The bowl bears the phrase ‘Gaudeamus Igituri’ which translates from Latin as, ‘So Let Us Rejoice.’
