Phenomenal art piece by famous artist Erte. This lithography/serigraphy piece is titled ‘Lady with a Rose’ and is edition E-396. Art is signed in pencil lower left hand corner and numbered 139/300, comes with documentation. The piece was editioned at the American Atelier, NY on October, Chicago Serigraphic Workshop. The master consisted of 15 mylar sheets which were chemically transferred to 15 emulsion-coated aluminum lithographic plates, one for each individual color. Seven hand-made screens were used for the serigraphic embellishments. The plates and screens were prepared from line drawings based on the maquette and color indications created by the artist. The plastic sheets, aluminum plates and screens used to create the edition have been destroyed. The art is triple matted in complimenting matte colors and framed in an elegant silver frame. Ready to hang.
