A four volume collection of antique to vintage books on furniture including a first edition. The first edition of The Furniture Makers of Cincinnati 1790 to 1849 was written and self-published by Jane E. Sikes in 1976. The book is bound in green cloth covered boards with gilt lettering to the front cover and spine and protected by a dust jacket. An eighth impression of The Practical Book of Period Furniture is bound in tan cloth covered boards with red lettering to the spine and front cover, features 250 illustrations including color plates and black and white illustrations throughout the text. The two volumes written by Wallace Nutting include the unabridged two volumes in one Furniture Treasure which features 5,000 illustrations with descriptions and the paperback edition of American Windsors with black and white illustrations.
