Item Details
An early to mid 20th century ceremonial round shield made by the Amhara people of Ethiopia. The shield features embossed brass ornamental elements with velvet field below and engraved cylindrical boss. The reverse bears a crimson red dyed jute fabric with patched center and leather hide frame.
