A 19th century Turner School watercolor painting on paper titled Estuary of the Mawddach Near Barmouth by an anonymous artist. This painting depicts a tiny figure hiking near the shore of the river. The scene is captured in great detail, under a diffuse, glowing light. It is presented behind an off-white silk mat, under glass in a gold-tone frame with cast embellishments. An engraved plaque to the base of the frame indicates the title and school.
