Item Details
An English sterling silver match safe by silversmith Constantine & Floyd of Birmingham, England (c1900 – c.1915). This piece features a chased scrolled foliate design with a blank scalloped cartouche to the front for engraving, if desired. The lip is stamped with the maker’s mark, alongside the Birmingham city mark, sterling lion passant, and ‘M’ for 1911. The approximate weight is 0.590 ozt.
