Signed and dated to the lower right, appears to read “Saußele 1870”
Condition
- heavy discoloration to painting; craquelure throughout with some scuffs and scratches to surface; frame rub to edges of piece; panel is bowed, leaving gap between piece and frame at upper edge; wear to frame with accretion and separation of corner joins; tears to paper backing.
