A signed limited edition offset lithograph after the original watercolor titled African Elephants, by well-listed Cincinnati wildlife artist and naturalist, John A. Ruthven (born 1924). The print depicts a mother elephant with her baby, cooling their bodies in a river, sipping the liquid through their amazing snouts. This print is numbered 2169/5000 and is signed by the artist in pencil to the lower right region. Artist signature is also printed in plate to the lower right. This print is unframed and comes with a glassine covering that has been printed with additional information about the artwork.

Condition

- significant wear and discoloration print and glassine cover; glassine cover has been crumbled and torn in places.
