Known for his sporting art, wildlife, and outdoor scenes, Churchill Ettinger began as a commercial artist creating work for advertisers and various publications. He studied at Columbia University, the National Academy of Design, the Art Students League, and the New York School of Industrial Art. His work has been collected by various institutions including the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, the Boston Public Library, and the Fred Jones Junior Museum of Art, among others.
Condition
- discoloration, dirt residue, and marks to paper; some tearing and fraying to paper, especially to the edges; paper is coming loose from board; tape residue to the upper corners of the paper.
