Vintage Advertising Planters Peanut Jar and Tin
Item Details
A Planters peanut glass jar and advertising tin. This mid-century-era jar is square in design and displays an embossed ‘Planters’ caption to each side. The jar’s lid is retained but does not appear to be the original. The accompanying circa 1920s metal circular tin with the lid once contained ten pounds of ‘Pennant Brand Whole Salted Peanuts’ and presents the colors of red and blue, adorned with ‘Mr. Peanut’ company mascot on the banner.
