A Dresden compote with a pair of candle holders. The compote has a oval
open work scalloped bowl with hand painted floral decoration and applied porcelain leaves and flowers, a tapered center column with flared top and base. The column is also decorated with applied leaves and flowers, featuring a couple standing to each side. A pair of Dresden porcelain rose motif candleholders accompany the compote. Each candleholder features double candle cups, having ornate detailing with applied orange and purple flowers and gold tone accents. All pieces are marked to the under side in blue ‘Dresden.’.
