An ‘Avon’ four drawer stenciled bedroom chest by the Hitchcock Chair Company, Ltd, mid 20th century. This classic four drawer chest features a medium brown stained top surface with stenciled edge and stenciled drawer fronts. Drawers feature a harvest stencil design, porcelain and metal eagle pull hardware, and dovetail construction. The chest case is black with a scalloped full with bracket base. Paper tag is dated ‘1968 with Hitchcock Chair Co. and model #801.’
