A Pennsylvania House reproduction secretary by Lewisburg Chair and Furniture Company. This cherry reproduction secretary features the Collector’s Finish No J-697, a limited edition finish, designed to match the original secretary. This secretary desk features a slanted writing surface that drops down onto support arms. The interior includes ten compartments, and three drawers. A cabinet includes a shallow drawer positioned between the surface supports, with three deeper drawers below, over full width bracket feet. The slant surface includes a key escutcheon with an working skeleton key. Drawers include dovetail construction and etched brass tone pulls. Drawer is marked ‘Lewisburg Chair and Furniture Company, Independence Hall, Pennsylvania House Reproduction.’ Reverse is marked ‘No. 3790, Desk, Collectors Finish.’
