Circa 1975 Vintage Hermès of Paris "L'Hiver en Poste" Silk Scarf

A circa 1975 vintage Hermès silk scarf in the L’Hiver en Poste pattern, designed by Philippe Ledoux. This design depicts winter scenes of horse-drawn carriages, shop fronts, snowy landscapes and figures in historic clothing. The four corners are decorated with red wagon wheels. The central design features “The Bull & Mouth. Regent’s Circus. Piccadilly” to the bottom of the print, and the main border of the scarf includes the title in a frame adorned with a pine branch motif. This scarf is marked with the artist’s name to the lower left and is labeled and marked by Hermès to the lower right, as well as to a label on the verso. The scarf is finished with rolled and hand-stitched edges.
