Item Details

A Kentucky Federal cherry Jackson press, circa 1825-30. The top has a shaped gallery with scrolled splash, having an acorn finial. Below are three drawers with diamond-shaped escutcheons, over two doors with raised panels, flanked by turned stiles with rope-twist detail, above reeded feet. The sides feature two framed panels and the back displays through-tenon construction.
