- to fair; overall with various scratches, dents, marks, and abrasions consistent with age and use; structurally stable but with a slight wobble; scattered cracks, lifting, losses, and repairs to veneers as well as tortoiseshell and brass inlay; interior of central well with some moisture stains; the interior possibly had a metal lining at one time (now missing).
