Born in Genoa, Eugenio Carmi studied painting under Felice Casorati and sculpture under Guido Galletti. His style ultimately developed into precise, geometric shapes with bright bursts of color. Eugenio Carmi also incorporated steel work into his pieces after working directly with the steel company Italsider. His work is collected in many public and private collections.
