Pierre Clerk studied fine arts at McGill University, Loyola College, the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, the Academy Julien, and the Accademia di belle Arti. Known for his bold and commanding modern prints, Clark is also recognized for his abstract sculptural work. His work is held in private and public collections, including the Museum of Modern Art, the Whitney Museum of American Art, the National Gallery of Canada, and the Solomon R. Guggenhiem Museum.
