Cincinnati Art Pottery Vases, Late 19th Century

A heavy pair of footed Cincinnati Art Pottery vases, circa 1890s. Each has a rounded flask form with cinched mouth and applied double-handles, with a gilt painted finish. One has relief decoration of hydrangeas, while the other features morning glories. Both have hand painted impressionist scenes to the verso, under glaze.
