Vintage Sonja Henie Style Composition Doll
Item Details
A vintage 1930s-1940s era Sonja Heine style composition doll. Madame Alexander produced dolls with similar clothing, facial features, and hair style beginning in 1939 after the famous Olympic skier and actress. This doll is unmarked and includes a ski outfit and girdle, skis and poles, and additional clothes, all unmarked. Included is a case but it is unclear whether this is original to the doll.

Condition
- discoloration to face with some crazing to finish throughout head, arms, body, and legs; banding is loose but still in tact; sleeper eyes function.
- clothing shows some holes from age, ski shoes have one broken clasp. Case is in poor condition with missing and torn components.
