A contemporary Rookwood stein, the Potter at the Wheel inspired by a Rookwood souvenir item from 1935, originally believed to have been sculpted by Earl Menzel. The item was described as a medallion, and was available for visitors of the old Mt. Adams pottery location. Marked to the underside is ‘10136’ ‘MMXV’ with Hibben’s cipher.
