Item Details
A French style guilloche music box with Chinese enamel tea scoop. The music box, circa 1900 – 1920, presents ornate bronze roping and laurel leaves to the exterior and is lined with camphor at the interior. At the center of the guilloche lid is an oval frame featuring a offset lithograph print of a woman with sunflowers. The tea scoop features a carved stone handle, is circa Republic period (1912-1949) and marked to the verso.

- minor areas of enamel loss along rim, ends of feet, and handle base to tea scoop; stain to wood at interior of music box; darkening to bronze; fading to print in lid of music box; music box was tested and functional at time of assessment.
