General Nathaniel Banks House of Representatives Letter and Portrait Engraving
Item Details
A signed letter by former speaker of the United States House of Representatives and Union general Nathaniel P. Banks (1816 – 1894). The letter is photo copied and presented on the left while the original signature and verso of the letter is shown on the right. The letter is accompanied by a newspaper clipping and portrait steel engraving of Banks by George Perine.
Condition
- discoloration and fading to ink; foxing and stains to paper.
