Federal Tambour Desk in Mahogany, Circa 1810

Item Details

A Federal secretary desk in mahogany with inlaid borders. The upper case with tambour doors, opening to a fitted interior of three inlaid drawers and valanced pigeon holes. Beneath, a fold-out writing surface, above two drawers with inlaid borders and molded glass knobs, over an arched apron, between four turned and reeded legs. Circa 1810, possibly Massachusetts.
