Victorian Walnut Renaissance-Revival Bed

Item Details

An American Victorian, Renaissance-Revival bed frame in walnut, attributed to Mitchell and Rammelsburg, circa 1865-75. The tall headboard decorated with a cartouche crest, cabochon and raised-panel details, between carved stiles with organic-carved finials. The side rails have scrolled brackets, carved medallion and burled panels. The footboard also with a large cabochon and cartouche. See 18CIN698-366, for matching dresser.
