"S.S New Amsterdam" Teak Deck Lounge Chair, 20th Century

Item Details

A vintage first class deck chair from the S.S. New Amsterdam (1938-73). This teak folding chair has a slatted back, seat, and retractable foot rest, with rounded ends to the top rail and curved armrests. It has a pinned X-frame base. Metal plates identifying the ship and class are affixed to the chair.
