"Anna Van" Van Briggle Slip Cast Ash Receiver

A brown and tan glazed slip cast Art Deco style ash receiver signed ‘Anna Van / Colo. Spgs.’. The receiver has a stylized deer in front of a swirling backdrop. This pottery was made to commemorate Anna Van Briggle-Ritter and was not signed by Anne as is often referenced. This mark was used from 1955 through 1968.
