A late 19th-century English School oil painting on canvas of a bucolic landscape. This work features crows and sheep grazing in a rural landscape, with illuminated by a vibrant glow radiating from the upper left. No visible signature was found on the work. It is presented in an antique Louis XV style gilt and gesso frame.

Condition

- small spots of in painting scattered throughout; stretcher marks near edges of painting; some rubbing and paint loss along edges; some fading and toning near edges of painting; craquelure throughout; wear in frame includes large chips to molding, especially along upper and lower right corners; addition wear to frame includes cracks, stains, and finish loss scattered throughout.
